Member Professional Development guidelines
- Members must seek approval from their host site supervisor prior to listing professional development training hours on their timesheets.
- Attending professional development opportunities is not a substitution for the required AmeriCorps trainings/orientation.
- Members may count classroom experiences as professional development if they are relevant to the member’s service activities or professional development.
- Members are highly encouraged to complete a reflection after each professional development activity.
